Our Story

Cascadia Music Sales is driven by musician and entrepreneur Ålexander Cai Zettas. He discovered his passion for music at a young age and was supported to start drum lessons when he was 7. His passion continued as he got older working in sales at record stores and guitar shops while he earned his Bachelor’s Degree at The University of North Dakota studying Music and Visual Arts. In the early part of his career, he worked as a Junior Music Publicist for a boutique agency outside of Los Angeles called Working Brilliantly. There, is where he began to develop his relations with artists, publications, and venues across the United States to expose new talent to the emerging scene. After working with artists to develop their brand he continued to find new ways of supporting musicians through Photography. He launched DescribeLight Photo and has since worked publications such as Relix Magazine and Music Marauders shooting many artists including Beck, Eric Church, Umphrey’s Mcgee, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, Kid Cudi, AC/DC, Phantogram, and countless others. During the pandemic the music industry slowed down and he settled in Eugene, OR starting WithinTheSound Studios offering drum lessons and designing websites. Cascadia Music Sales is an extension of his lifelong relationship with music and the people who live it.
